Bio
Stefan Alcalá Slater is a writer from Los Angeles. He writes fiction, and his work has appeared in F&SF, Daily Science Fiction, and The Arcanist. He writes nonfiction too, and his work has appeared in The LAist, Hakai Magazine, and Surfer. He’s been interviewed on 89.3 KPCC. He is a graduate of the Clarion West Writers Workshop, and he has an MFA in creative nonfiction from Goucher College.
