Bio
Stefan Alcalá Slater is a writer from Los Angeles. He writes fiction, and his work has appeared in F&SF, Flash Fiction Online, and Daily Science Fiction. He writes nonfiction too, and his work has appeared in The LAist, Hakai Magazine, and Surfer. He’s been interviewed on 89.3 KPCC. He is a graduate of the Clarion West Writers Workshop, and he has an MFA in creative nonfiction from Goucher College.
